HID bulbs are a quantum leap forward in off-road lighting. HID (high intensity discharge) lamps produce daylight quality light and brightness, far outperforming conventional quartz halogen lighting systems. These bulbs are the same ones being used by BMW, Mercedes and Lexus in their OEM headlights.

A single HID. bulb produces the equivalent of 250 watts of halogen lighting power while only consuming 50 watts of power and generating far less heat. They also do not use a filament; they fire an 18,000-volt electric charge between two electrodes encased in a xenon gas-filled bulb. Since the bulb has no filament, vibration is not a detriment to its operating life (2000 hours). All this makes HID Bulbs a perfect fit for off-road use.

HID kits adapt an HID bulb to your existing stock or after-market motorcycle, truck, or buggy halogen headlight, The kits consists of a high voltage ballast, HID bulb with built in igniter, connectors, a simple wiring harness, mounting hardware and detailed installation instructions. The ballast is fully waterproof and epoxy encapsulated to stand up to weather and off-road abuse. The ballast provides the power needed to run the HID bulb, weighs 5 ounces and measures 3-1/2" x 2-3/4" x 1-1/4"

HID electronics kits allow remote mounting of the ballast from the bulb giving you greater flexibility for installing the system on a motorcycle. The Ballast can be mounted in such places as the light's fairing, behind a side panel, or anywhere else as long as it is within 31 inches of the headlight (Different length high voltage leads available).

For off road truck and buggy mounting, Baja Designs has placed all these components in one easy to install housing. So what you get is a Single 8” or a 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 light bar that is ready to be installed the second it is removed from the box. By eliminating the need to mount an external ballast, your installation time is cut in half and there is no vehicle down time.

Designed by experienced off-road racers, SolteK light beam patterns are specifically engineered for varying and rugged off-road terrain conditions. SolteK beam patterns are large and smooth, without limiting "sharp cut-offs" or distracting "hotspots."

The new SolteK Fuego 4" Single light is engineered for applications that require a compact, lightweight, and cost effective lamp with maximum light output.

Fuego incorporates all the durable features that have made SolteK lights so popular with off-road racers, including Baja Designs exclusive stainless steel mount with Aluminum Quick Adjuster (patent pending).

Soltek 'Fuego' 4-inch lights come in 4 different optics patterns (Spot, Driving, Wide-Driving, Wide-Cornering) and are available in HID or Halogen.

Truck and buggy owners can light the night on fire with Baja Designs’ revolutionary new Fuego 4" light. The Fuego 4" light can mount virtually anywhere. Fuego Halogen lights come with a premium 100-watt bulb and HID versions come with a 5 ounce Generation 5 ballast and bulb pre-wired and installed. A cast aluminum housing protects all components from harsh offroad conditions.

Fuego lights are available in 3 different color trim rings – Red, Blue or Black.

Fuego 4" lights use Multi-Surface Reflector (MSR) technology to provide the best quality light possible to offroad riders. MSR technology Makes it possible for a 4" light to approach the output of an 8" light and still maintain a smooth, even pattern with no hot spots or sharp cut-offs.

Fuego lights can mount to any surface or welded tab with a single bolt and nyloc nut and can be adjusted side to side to provide a wide field of vision at night. The unique Aim-N-Go feature allows you to adjust the lights up and down easily and without any tools.

All Fuego lights incorporate Baja Designs' signature "Center-pivot" mounting which isolates the light and all it’s components from vibration at three separate points.
