Flex-a-Lite prides itself on its product design, manufacturing, and marketing, but it is the focus on continual process improvement and customer satisfaction with exceptional value and service that keeps Flex-a-Lite in the forefront of Flex-a-Lite's markets.
The brand name "Flex-a-lite" serves the automotive industry with belt-driven engine cooling fans, electric fans, transmission and engine oil coolers. The brand name "FAL" offers the same products to the younger sport compact market, and also offers poly carbonate windows. Flex-a-Lite designed the first plastic Heavy Duty truck fans in 1968 for Class VI & VIII trucks, and produced the first one-piece plastic truck fan in 1977, followed by the first injection molded truck fans in 1979. In 1978, Flex-a-Lite developed the first electric engine cooling fan for the U.S. Aftermarket. Flex-a-Lite also manufacture various metal and plastic components with high-volume and high-tonnage punch presses.
