H&S Performance recommends you install either this 409901 6.7L Dodge Fuel Rail Shim kit or an H&S Fuel Rail Plug. H&S performance tuning can raise the fuel rail pressure which may cause the fuel rail release valve to open prematurely. Buy installing the H&S Performance Fuel Rail Shim Kit you will add more spring tension to the valve causing it to say closed under slightly higher pressure. If these DTC Codes (P1011 or P0087) have appeared then you need to purchase this rail shim kit to prevent these codes from reoccurring. H&S Performance chips will raise the fuel rail pressure, and will sometimes cause the fuel rail release valve to open prematurely.
