TOTAL CHAOS Uni-Ball Upper

Control Arm
TOTAL CHAOS has produced
the first bolt on UCA system that
eliminates the factory ball joint
and upgrades to a 1 Teflon lined
uniball for the Nissan 2wd & 4wd
Titan trucks. When aftermarket coil
over shocks, coil spacers, or other
lift kits are installed they often
decrease caster or tend to cause the
factory upper control arms to
contact the coil bucket during droop
wheel travel. TC designed the UCAs
to add caster when installed, which
will aid in vehicle cornering and
overall handling on and off road. It
will also correct alignment when
aftermarket lifts are installed.
TCs tubular arms offer maximum
droop travel and aid in eliminating
the upper control arm coil bucket
contact since they are manufactured
using 1.25 chromoly tubing and are
not as bulky as a factory upper arm.
In some cases additional grinding to
the factory coil bucket can be made
to increase droop travel. This
depends on which brand coil over
shock or what current drop down
bracket system is installed. The
arms will also aid in achieving
proper alignment. The system is 100%
bolt on and requires no drilling or
welding for the installation. The
arms can be installed on any vehicle
that retains the factory control arm
and spindle mounting locations. All
pivot tubes include zirk fittings to
lubricate the urethane bushings and
inner sleeves while bolted on the
vehicle. This kit comes complete
with urethane bushings, inner
sleeves, 1 uniballs,
hi-misalignment spacers and grade 8
hardware. Sway-A-Way TCF RaceRunner
shocks offer a specific coil over
designed to offer 1 of additional
droop wheel travel when combined
with TCs upper control arms.

Control Ford 04-07 F-150 2WD &
4WD Upper Control Arm_1
TOTAL CHAOS introduced
the first performance dual sport
truck package that includes chromoly
upper control arms for the 04-07
Ford F-150 2wd & 4wd trucks. TC has
developed a tapered spindle adapter
that converts the kit to be 100%
bolt on and eliminates the need
drill the spindle to perform the
installation. Stock length 4130
chromoly upper control arms replace
the factory arms. TC eliminated the
factory ball joint and incorporated
a 1" Teflon lined Uniball for
maximum travel. Sway-A-Way, Donahoe
and King offer bolt on shocks that
replace the factory OEM shock with a
2.5 diameter coil over and offer up
to 2" of lift. This UCA and shock
package is designed to increase off
road and street performance while
allowing the installation of up to a
35" tall tire on a 2wd or 4wd truck
(wheel back spacing is critical).
Installing a set of TC lowering
shackles PT# 48502 will level the
truck when aftermarket coil overs
have been installed and increase
cornering capability. TOTAL CHAOS
includes grade 8 hardware, tapered
spindle adapters, urethane bushings
& inner sleeves, heat treated
hi-misalignment spacers, 1" Teflon
lined Uniballs, and powder coated
control arms in this kit. Installing
the UCA system with other suspension
manufacturers applications that
retain factory control arm and
mounting locations can be performed.

Looking for a sport
truck suspension system so you can
install larger tires and also
enhance stability and daily driving
vehicle ride quality? How about a
bolt on 3�€� lift package
intended to maximize wheel travel
and add strength to IFS suspension
components? TOTAL CHAOS now offers
uniball upper control arms that were
designed to be installed with DR TCF
specific coil over shocks and meet
these needs! With the combined UCA
and coil over package you can
install 2�€� of lift and
2�€� of extra droop wheel
travel to your 2wd or 4wd truck or
SUV. This suspension package was
designed for lift and to increase
the handing and ride quality for on
and off road applications. Daily
driving ride quality does not have
to be compromised when you want to
install larger tires. Replace
factory upper ball joints with a
1�€� uniball. CNC spindle
adapters were developed and are
included to make this system 100%
bolt on with no irreversible
changes. TC arms are designed to
maximize droop wheel travel and
increase the durability of
suspension components when you
install aftermarket coil over shocks
or other brand lift systems. The TC/DR
package is currently the only system
that has incorporated added droop
travel to achieve the best ride
quality available. Increase ride
quality on long graded roads to your
back country destination or rail the
turns in a smoother handling ! This
package allows you to install up to
a 285/70 R17 tire. TC upper control
arms are powder coated with added
clear coat and come complete with
all mounting hardware,
hi-misalignment spacers, zerk
fitting to lubricate control arm
pivot bushings while the arms bolted
on the vehicle, and installation

Control Arms 2007 + Tundra
TUNDRA
The release of the Toyota 2007
Tundra truck has been much
anticipated. Labeled out of the box
as a tow horse with roomy interior,
it was clear when the designers at
TC began R&D that they focus on a
bolt on performance suspension
package that would compliment the
factory amenities. TOTAL CHAOS
developed the first stock length
replacement upper control arm system
that is intended to replace the
factory caster that is lost when any
aftermarket 3�€� lift is
installed. Installing a set of TOTAL
CHAOS UCA�€™s can replace up
to 3 degrees of lost caster as well
as increase wheel travel with some
brands of aftermarket coil over
shocks. This kit is designed to
increase on highway and off road
handling and overall performance
without irreversible modifications
to the vehicle. This system is 100%
bolt on and maintains all factory
mounting locations. A tapered
spindle adapter is included to
replace the factory ball joint with
a 1�€� Uniball. 4130 chromoly
upper control arms feature zirk
fittings on all 4 pivots to
lubricate the inner sleeves and
urethane bushings with the arms
bolted on the vehicle. The arms are
rebuildable and we can have bushing
kits and uniball's available below.
The HD uni-balls can make a little
noise on occasion. An ABS line
locating bracket is also
incorporated to replicate the
factory routing bracket located on
the stock arm. The complete kit
includes 1�€� Teflon lined
Uniballs & stainless hi-mis
alignment spacers, hardware,
urethane bushings, inner sleeves,
end washers and installation
instructions. Actual lift is
determined by coil over shocks or
the brand lift kit installed.

TACOMA 4RUNNER / FJ
TC offers the replacement 6 lug
Upper Control Arm system for your
2005+ Tacoma pickup, 2003-2007
4Runner and 2007 FJ Cruiser that
upgrades the factory ball joint to a
1" Uniball and maintains a 100% bolt
on application. When aftermarket
lifts are installed on these model
vehicles the OEM suspension design
looses caster. By altering the
factory caster, the vehicle will
lose on road handling & performance
and has a tendency to wander when
driving down the road. TC developed
the UCAs to add caster to the
suspension when aftermarket coil
over shocks and other lifts are
installed. This will increases
overall handling and aids in the
alignment of the vehicle. Built
using all chromoly tubing and 1"
Teflon lined Uniballs, these stock
length upper control arms simply
bolt to the existing factory a-arm
location and pivot on urethane
bushings. TC has manufactured a
press in spindle adapter and uses a
9/16" grade 8 bolt. This complete
kit includes heat treated
hi-misalignment spacers and zinc
plated end washers. Zerk fittings
are included in all pivots and the
kit comes complete with hardware,
urethane bushings, inner sleeves and
install instructions.

Control Arm Nissan 05+ Frontier
/ XTerra / Pathfinder
TOTAL CHAOS pioneered
the first bolt on Upper Control Arm
system for the 05+ Frontier, XTerra
& Pathfinder that eliminates the
factory ball joint and incorporates
a 1" Teflon lined uniball for
maximum travel. New alternative
brands supply a smaller 7/8 uniball.
This system is 100% bolt on and
includes stock length replacement
control arms that are manufactured
using 4130 chromoly tubing. Factory
upper arms contact the coil bucket
during droop wheel travel. The
contact is more noticeable when
aftermarket coil spacer, lift kits
or shocks have been installed. TC
UCA incorporate a urethane droop
stop pad which contacts the coil
bucket during droop travel. TC also
added caster in their design which
will increase handling on and off
road, and helps retain factory
alignment specs when these
aftermarket lifts are installed. We
highly recommend adding lower
control arm alignment cams (PT#
91350) on vehicle models that are
not equipped with these adjusters
from the factory in order to
maintain alignment specs.TC tubular
arms come powder coated silver with
an additional clear coat. These UCA
will allow for additional wheel
travel with some aftermarket
applications. The arms can be
installed on any Frontier, XTerra,
or Pathfinder that retains the
factory control arm and spindle
mounting locations. All pivot tubes
include zerk fittings to lubricate
the urethane bushings and inner
sleeves while the arms are bolted on
the vehicle. TC fixed pivot &
urethane bushing design will
eliminate potential alignment
hassles that can be a result from
adjustable pivot alternatives.
Reduce alignment errors and retain
factory specs with TC system. The
kit comes complete with 1" uniball
hi-misalignment spacers, urethane
bushings, inner sleeves, droop stop
pads and grade 8 hardware.

Control Land Cruiser 2008+
LAND CRUISER
TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication has expanded
its upper control arm product line
for the Toyota market to now include
2008+ Land Cruiser models. These
stock length 4130 chromoly upper
control arms replace factory arms
and incorporate a 1" uniball for
added travel. Zerk fittings are
included on all 4 pivots to
lubricate the urethane bushings.
These arms have added caster and are
intended to regain factory
recommended alignment specifications
when aftermarket lifts have been
installed. These upper arms were
designed to be installed with the
new ICON bolt in 2.5" coil over
shock that adds up to 3" of lift and
allows the installation of up to a
33" tire. Increase handling and
durability with TCs UCA package.
This system comes complete with
upper control arms, urethane
bushings, inner sleeves, grade 8
hardware, zerk fittings, hi
misalignment spacers, powder coat
with an added clear coat.

TC now offers armor for your stock
FJ Cruiser and Tacoma suspension.
This bolt on lower a-arm skid plate
uses 3/16” mild steel to provide
maximum protection from the elements
and will protect areas most
vulnerable to rocks and tree hang
ups on the trail. TC’s armor is
CNC laser cut, pre bent and welded
ready for easy installation. The
skids bolt into existing factory
lower control arm bolt holes
(enlarging some holes may be
necessary). Carriage bolts are used
to eliminate damage caused by rocks.
These arms ship raw so the armor can
also be fully welded to the stock
lower control arm for added strength
& protection.
