Competition Parts /Driveline Loops

 Driveshaft loop or Driveline Loops

When do you need to install Drive-Line Loops?

  • If you have altered the engines power level.
  • Don't go to the track but you will do an occasional burnout.
  • Will drive the truck hard then its time to consider installing driveline loops.
  • Understand that the driveline is only as strong as the weakest link!
  • My main concern is safety.
  • Understand what will happen when you have a driveshaft failure.
  • Are running regular street tires you probably don't need to worry about it.
  • If you plan on installing drag radials or slicks I would strongly suggest you install a loop around your driveshaft.
  • Understand the loop is designed as a major saftey component.
  • Comprehend the loop is designed to save the floor and protect the driver.

Horsepower and Torque alone won't necessarily break parts but increased power levels and traction surely will destroy your driveline!

A wise man once said an ounce of prevention is well worth a pound of cure!

Driveline loops offer you cheap insurance for the containment of the damage that will occur with a driveline failure.
