KLM Performance Inc. Shipping Policies and Methods of Delivery:

We at KLM Performance are doing everything to make sure orders ship out as quickly as possible and ask for your understanding during these unprecedented times.

What does that mean?

KLM Performance will make its best effort to ship your order in a timely manner. Once your package has been handed over to the carrier, it is now out of our control. Please do not plan or schedule any repair work until you have received your order. The email and text notification of a tracking number mean your order has shipped.

COVID-19 SHIPPING DELAYS

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, product delivery times may change without notice. Delays in shipping times are out of our control.

Please understand that KLM Performance has no control over the order's transit time once it leaves our facility.

At KLM Performance, we do everything to make sure orders ship out as quickly as possible and ask for your understanding during these unprecedented times.

Please Note If Time Is of The Essence, KLM Performance strongly recommends using Express Shipping Services to minimize any potential delay while your order is in transit! For an Express Shipment to be processed on the same business day, your order must be received before 3:00 PM EST. Orders received after 300 PM EST will be processed on the next business day!

We strongly recommend that you do NOT schedule shop time for your vehicle until you have your parts IN HAND. 

At KLM Performance, we believe "poor planning on the customer's part does not constitute an emergency on ours."  This means we cannot change production times or shipping speed once your order has been placed.  

If, for whatever reason, you need an expedited order, please state this decree in the notes for your order and choose one of our expedited shipping options.

This is the onlyway we will know if you are under a time restraint.

You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. We can ship products anywhere in the United States via UPS or the USPS using the shipping method of your choice. When you place an order, we will estimate delivery dates based on the availability of your item(s), the shipping method selected, and your shipment’s destination.

Our shipping charges are determined by the total weight of your order, excluding applicable sales tax.

Some items are more significant than others, and we need to enter DIMENSIONAL weight for shipping cost accuracy, especially for more valuable elements that need to ship with express shipping.

Some products cannot be shipped to specific international destinations, so please submit a message to us from the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss international ordering options.

KLM Performance Inc. reserves the right to ship your order with the most effective carrier available.

This right is based upon our vast experience shipping items across the world.

Select items do not ship well with certain carriers, so this policy is noted.

KLM Performance Inc. exclusively ships via UPS or USPS on all orders considered non-truck freight.

KLM Performance Inc. will only ship freight to the fifty U.S states and Canada.

KLM Performance Inc. will ship any item to an International Address provided upon completion of a PayPal payment or Wire Transfer and order processing.

If you would like any item listed sent to an International Address, don't hesitate to contact KLM Performance directly by email to arrange for order instructions.

If you, the customer, place an order to an International address not listed above, KLM Performance Inc. reserves the right to cancel your order and issue a full refund.

When will my product be shipped out? 

Most products ordered ship directly from KLM Performance Inc. within 0 to 2 business days. Express Shipments placed on a Saturday, Sunday, or after the close of business will be shipped on the next business day. In order for an Express Shipment to be processed on the same business day, your order must be received before 3:00 PM EST. Orders received after 300 PM EST will be processed on the next business day!

Some exceptions may include custom-made products, back-ordered items, and direct ship items. 

How long will it take to receive my product? 

Most orders are received within 3 to 6 business days if the product is in stock, depending on your location and the chosen shipping method.

Non-stock, custom-made, or particular order and out-of-stock items may take weeks to receive.

If you would like to check inventory or estimated ship date, please contact us by phone or email.

Order Shipment Notification:

KLM Performance asks that you provide us with a valid working email address and a cell phone number for your shipment notification.

We urge you, the customer, to check this email address for all tracking information on your order.

Once an order has been shipped, an email and or SMS text will inform the customer the order has been sent.

You will automatically receive the SMS shipment notification if you provide KLM Performance with your cell phone.

Please check your email and or cell phone for all shipment notifications.

This order shipment notification is provided to make our valued customers fully aware of your order's delivery status. 

The Tracking Number Has Not Been Updated! 

Shipping carriers sometimes fail to update tracking information. Some carriers, like USPS, will not scan the package until it is delivered.

Please understand that once the package has been handed to the shipping carrier, KLM Performance has no control over the movement of this order.

What Does Shipped Mean?

The term "Shipped" means the order is packed, labeled, and ready for carrier pick up.

Pick-up times vary due to driver schedules, traffic, weather, and other factors.

Orders shipped late in the day or on weekends may not be picked up until the next business day.

Please do not worry if tracking results are not immediately available or if old tracking information appears.

Carriers take up to two business days to update information on their websites.

Carriers may reuse tracking numbers and won't remove old records until they post new activity.

Free Shipping Offer: 

KLM Performance Inc. offers select items with Free Economy Ground shipping.

This free shipping offer applies only to U.S addresses within the 48 contiguous states, which excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Any product purchased with Free Shipping will not be sent out as a Priority Shipment with a guaranteed delivery time.

If time is of the essence, we suggest you choose Federal Express as your delivery method.

Free Shipping is Ground. This offer does not apply to truck freight items. KLM Performance Inc. reserves the right to select the carrier of our choice for this free shipping promotion.

Please note that items offered with Free Shipping do not get shipped as a Priority Order with Express Shipping Services.

Free Next Day Air Shipping

KLM Performance Free Next Day Air shipping is available on select marked products listed on www.klmperformance.com. This free Next Day offer is valid only to U.S addresses within the 48 U.S. states, which excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. 

When Delivery Time Is of The Essence

When Time Is of The Essence, and you need the product within a specific period of time, please choose either UPS or USPS Priority Express Delivery Services, as these are guaranteed delivery services. 

KLM Performance offers multiple Express Delivery options to meet your timelines. All orders received by KLM Performance with Express Delivery Services are treated with expedited order processing times and are prepared for order shipment with the utmost urgency. In order for an Express Shipment to be processed on the same business day, your order must be received before 3:00 PM EST. Orders received after 300 PM EST will be processed on the next business day!

Domestic Shipping Methods

Economy or Free Shipping:

This method does include a standard tracking number; only delivery confirmation is available. Economic or Free Shipping is the slowest shipping method and often takes six to ten business days for delivery.

Due to recent changes in the USPS system, delivery times have now increased. If you place an order and choose the USPS as a delivery method, the shipment times are now subject to delays.

Customers who want USPS Priority Mail must understand this is not a guarantee for delivery times.

We reserve the right to automatically upgrade this shipping option to UPS Ground if we see fit.

Dynamic Shipping Cost Calculation:

Many factors determine the shipping costs incurred for orders after the checkout process.

The calculation for shipping costs is based upon the dimensional weight of the package dimensions and weight of the products being purchased and the shipping destination and other shipping company-specific delivery options presented to the user when checking out.

UPS Express Delivery Services:

KLM Performance highly recommends these shipment methods when Time Is of The Essence. UPS does not guarantee these shipping methods for their stated delivery times. UPS has suspended its shipping guarantee effective March 26, 2020, until further notice. In order for an Express Shipment to be processed on the same business day, your order must be received before 3:00 PM EST. Orders received after 300 PM EST will be processed on the next business day! Please see the below link for additional information regarding the UPS policy regarding freight charge reimbursements.

UPS Express Saver - 3 Day Delivery Service: This shipping option will ensure delivery three business days after the order has been picked up and scanned. A tracking number will be available usually within one day of dispatch.

UPS 2nd Day Air - 2nd Day Express Service: This shipping service will guarantee delivery within two business days after the order has been picked up and scanned. A tracking number will be available usually within one day of shipping. The cutoff for 2nd Day Air is 300 PM EST in most cases.

UPS Priority Overnight - Next Day Delivery. The cutoff for Priority Overnight Service is 200 PM EST in most cases. Priority Overnight may not be available in all areas of the country.  If this option is not available, will the order be shipped standard overnight?  Also, it is not possible for all parts. If we cannot send it Next Day Air, but the site said it could, we will contact the buyer and let them know. A tracking number will be available usually within one day of shipping.

UPS Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery - Our website is not configured for the Saturday Next Day Air Delivery Service method. If you need a product delivered by Express Delivery, please call in your order. Saturday delivery leads to increased fees for this service. Saturday is considered a business day for UPS shipping, but only for time-critical shipments. Regular orders are delivered Monday through Friday, and any item delivered on a Saturday must have a "Saturday Delivery" sticker on the package.

UPS Ground Service:

UPS Ground is our preferred method of shipping merchandise. A tracking number will be available usually within one day of shipment processing.  Although UPS does give an estimate of 3 to 5 days for delivery, they do not guarantee the purchase for delivery within that period.

UPS Shipping Days:

UPS shipping times are based upon the regular business days of Monday to Friday. UPS does not deliver on Saturday unless you have called in your order for UPS Priority Overnight Saturday Delivery. The KLM Performance website does not offer Saturday delivery as a suggested shipping option. Please do not include the day your package ships when calculating delivery days in transit.

UPS Weather Delays:

In the event of Adverse Weather your package may be delayed while in transit. Refunds for weather-related issues are considered an Act of God and do not constitute a refund for delivery services.

USPS or U.S. Mail Shipping Methods

USPS Priority Mail

USPS Priority Mail - This is a low-cost alternative to express shipping. Since this is a far less expensive means of transporting your merchandise, you must understand that this is not a guaranteed means of delivery nor an Express Shipping method. Priority Mail is the United States Postal Service's standard service. Packages usually arrive at their domestic destination within 1 to 3 business days. Transit times vary depending on how far the box has to be delivered from its origin. However, it's essential to remember that this is not a guaranteed service. So, there's no recourse if packages are delayed. Recent changes within the USPS system have led to shipment delays beyond the time given on your shipping receipt. The USPS system also has issues with scanning and tracking all items shipped. Please understand that the delivery delays and scanning issues are beyond our control. USPS Priority Mail provides you with a tracking number, but it is not a guaranteed means of shipping nor an express shipping method. Scanning and delivery times are subject to the conditions that this carrier endures while your item is in transit.

USPS Priority Mail Express

An Overnight Delivery Guarantee backs USPS Priority Mail Express Shipping. Priority Mail Express service is the fastest domestic service provided by the USPS. There are certain limitations and exceptions to this service. For example, some overnight areas are limited to a Two-Day shipping timeline. Priority Mail Express is available 365 days a year, with a money-back guarantee and shipping to most U.S. addresses, including PO Boxes™.

KLM Performance highly recommends the UPS Priority Mail Express method of shipment when Time Is of The Essence. In order for a USPS Priority Mail Express Shipment to be processed on the same business day, your order must be received before 3:00 PM EST. Orders received after 300 PM EST will be processed on the next business day!

The USPS Priority mail has never been a guaranteed service and has never been offered with a money-back guarantee. Please note that the USPS Priority Mail is not an Express Service.

APO/FPO Shipping (Military Address)

KLM Performance Inc. cannot ship the product directly to APO or FPO addresses because we utilize UPS. UPS does not ship to APO/FPO addresses. As an option, you may want to consider shipping to a stateside street address and then sending the package to the APO/FPO address overseas via the US Postal Service.

Canadian Duties & Taxes

An international Canadian shipment recipient may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you, the recipient; KLM Performance has no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from city and province; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. 


Signature Requirement for Delivery:

KLM Performance Inc. will ship almost all packages with a signature required to deliver the merchandise ordered for your protection and ours. All custom-made products require a signature for delivery.

A signature at delivery is needed for all the main metro areas, apartment buildings, and orders over $100.


Shipping Damage

Please get in touch with our customer service team immediately with any concerns regarding shipping damage.

If the item you received shows any damage, we advise you to refuse the shipment.

You, the recipient, must notify KLM Performance within five business days of delivery receipt regarding any damage sustained to your order while in transit. 

These items we ship are insured, and time is of the essence when filing a claim with the carrier.

Please remember to notify KLM Performance immediately so that we can investigate this issue and pursue a response. Failure to report to KLM Performance by this timeline may affect our ability to resolve this matter and affect the claim.

When in stock, we will replace lost or damaged merchandise as soon as we receive the appropriate claim number from the shipping company.

Other companies execute the transportation of your merchandise; KLM Performance has no control of the item once the shipping agent picks it up.

We are not responsible for delays, scanning, lost, stolen, or damaged packages. Shipping issues occur, and KLM Performance will make its best effort to resolve these potential problems. 

SHIPMENTS WITH A DIFFERENT BILLING ADDRESS AND SHIPPING ADDRESS 

KLM Performance can allow this to occur when the following steps are taken to ensure delivery of your order.

NOTE: Due to Credit Card Fraud, we can No Longer Provide the Ability to Ship to any other address than the Card Holders Billing Address! If your credit card billing address is different from your shipping address, your order will default to your billing address. You must enter the correct billing address for your order as the shipping address for the order you are placing online to be processed. 

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST USE PAYPAL AS THE PAYMENT GATE IF THE SHIPPING ADDRESS DOES NOT MATCH THE BILLING ADDRESS. ANY OTHER PAYMENT METHOD, INCLUDING CREDIT/DEBIT CARD, WILL BE SHIPPED TO THE BILLING ADDRESS ONLY!

Due to the high level of fraudulent credit/debit card activity, this policy is in place to protect you, the consumer, and we cannot make any exceptions.

If you require an order to be sent to a different delivery address, please use PayPal for your payment method and apply this different address to your PayPal account. Log in to your PayPal account. Place your mouse's cursor over the "Profile" menu, then click "Add or Edit Street Address" on the list of options. This displays a list of your current shipping addresses. Click the "Add Address" button at the bottom of the list of addresses.

You can also call this decree to be processed by phone.

Additional shipping charges will be incurred for all orders delivered to an address other than the cardholder billing address. You will be required to present a Photo ID to the shipping agent for delivery.

You must enter the correct billing address for your order as the shipping address for the order you are placing online to be processed. 

We aren't usually handling insurance claims for damaged items, lost items, or stolen goods from your doorstep that are NOT honored by the shipping carrier because you requested a delivery without a signature.

We will not cover the cost or be held responsible.

For customers in Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada, please consider calling in your order so we can arrange convenient shipping.

Shipments That Require A Signature For Delivery:

  • All Custom-made orders require a direct signature for delivery.
  • All orders over $100.00 require a signature for delivery.
  • Signature at delivery is needed for all major metro areas and apartment buildings.
  • You will be required to present a Photo I.D. to the shipping agent for delivery.
  • Orders shipped with an Express Delivery Service require a signature for delivery. 
  • These measures are to help prevent fraud and ensure you obtain the items you ordered.
