A Mopar steering stabilizer shock is basically a shock absorber for designed for your steering system. Steering dampers provide unrestricted gradual movement of the steering linkage but resist sudden shock. Steering Stabilizers or Dampers also combat other forces that induce tire shimmies, such as larger / heavier tires and wheels and slack in the suspension and steering systems.
