The Installation of this Single Piece Oil Pan Gasket is straightforward.

When re-installing a previously used oil pan, carefully inspect the rails around the mounting holes for flatness and ensure that they are not concave where the fasteners come in contact. After inspection, thoroughly clean the engine block sealing surface, front cover, and rear main cap. Ensure that all old sealant, gasket residue, and oil have been removed and the surfaces are completely dry. It is recommended to use a small amount of high-quality RTV sealant at the corner where the timing cover meets the engine block and where the rear main bearing cap meets the engine block, as some engines may have a rear seal cover that creates a small void in this area.
